Jubilee Wood

The Jubilee Woods project led by the Woodland Trust aims to plant 6 million trees and as of March just over 5 million had been planted.

Woods bring many benefits to both us and wildlife, storing carbon, stabilising the soil and generating oxygen.

Other Woods

There are several examples of good deciduous woodland near Wenvoe, most of which have Rights of Ways running through them.

Some are likely to be Ancient Woodland as they include plants such as Herb Paris, Greater Butterfly Orchid and Moschatel.

types you can find in the centre of the village.
